The real culprit is also the real victim, and that's none other than us. With our reckless habits and the smug assumption that we own the planet and all its life, we have contributed to the reality we face today and the future that awaits us.
Every hour and every minute, nature is inching on our land, our lives, livelihoods, and our hope for a sustainable future. It's payback time. As water levels rise, saline water infiltrates settlements and vegetation, uprooting everything we hold onto for survival. Its late already. But don’t we say, ‘Better late than never.’
